Picis Closes Acquisition of LYNX Medical Systems
WAKEFIELD, Mass.— August 13, 2007 — Picis, a leading global provider of high-acuity care information systems, today announced that it has closed its acquisition of LYNX Medical Systems from Francisco Partners. As previously announced, this acquisition creates the most comprehensive end-to-end clinical and financial information management system for hospital emergency departments. The acquisition was funded in part by Goldman Sachs & Co. Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. acted as the advisor for Picis, and William Blair & Co. represented the seller.
